Mom Kramer (The Encouragers) Goes Home

For forty-five years, The Encouragers have graced the stages of Southern Gospel Music and it was through the vision and encouragement of one, Mom Kramer.

Mom Kramer passed away on December 19th after having to leave the stage early with a severe headache.  She was rushed to a local hospital where it was determined a brain Aneurysm causing her to lapse into a coma.  On the day she passed, she was surrounded by family as they sang songs of praise and joy as she made her way inside the gates of heaven.

As reported by Danny Jones of  The Singing News:
“Her one desire and prayer was to leave this world while she was ministering the Gospel in song and not to be alone when she passed. On Tuesday evening, Mom left us while ministering the Gospel in song and doing so before hundreds of friends, supporters and concert-goers in helping the Encouragers raise food items for hungry and needy families in Georgia. On this special night, God answered her prayer.”
